MUTOH Launches XpertJet 1462UF UV-LED Flatbed Printer

MUTOH, manufacturer and provider of wide format printers, cutter, inks, and accessories launched the XpertJet 1462UF UV-LED flatbed printer. 
 
The XpertJet 1462UF is designed to offer businesses enhanced productivity with enhanced printing quality powered by MUTOH’s VerteLith Genuine RIP software to optimize printer performance. It also comes equip with FlexiDESIGNER MUTOH Edition 21. 
 
The printer has a large table size of 55” x 27” allowing for increased production capacity and profitability and allows users to print on objects up to 5.91 inches thick. XpertJet 1462UF capabilities include UV printer enhancement, ADA compliant braille, packaging, awards, and signage. An integrated media height detection sensor automatically detects the thickness of media and prevents collisions, safeguarding the print heads.

Faster layer printing and maximized efficiency is possible due to the printer’s dual layer print head in a staggered configuration and has multi-layer printing speeds up to 41.8 sqft/hr. Local dimming control technology and two 4” UV LED lamps allow for enhanced UV-LED curing. Seamless printing is made possible from the nozzle area select function and a four-zone vacuum table allows for independent control of vacuuming speeds for different zones.
