XSYS Launches Nyloprint WS PRO Digital Letterpress Plate

XSYS announced the release of its water-washable, steel-based letterpress plate, the nyloprint WS PRO Digital for printing on plastic tubes and cup, metal cans and aerosols. 
 
The new plate offers superior printing quality with superior highlight dots independent of the processing equipment, making it optimal for LED inline exposure and brush washout. Its suitable for all types of letterpress plate processing equipment. The new formulation is also less prone to cracking, kinks, and irreversible bending providing longer durability and high stability from the steel used with the nyloprint materials.

The nyloprint WS PRO D is available in four thicknesses and offers better Overall Equipment Effectiveness with a formula that is less prone to plate deformation and reduced plate waste to improve sustainability of the production process. Compared to the market standard, the press exhibits higher sensitivity to UVA LED exposure, meaning it can be processes faster on inline UV units. 
 
The press is suitable for dry offset, special-purpose printing presses, rotary letterpresses, and imprinting units, as well as all types of processing equipment, working well with ThermoFlexX TFxX imagers fitted with a Hybrid drum, and the XSYS nyloprint range.
