The National Association of Printing Ink Manufacturers (NAPIM) 2024 Summer Course, set for July 15-19 at the Sonoco Institute at Clemson University in Clemson, SC, is a unique opportunity to learn the basics of ink formulation. It offers in-depth looks at offset, liquid, energy curable and digital inks, as well as the key ingredients that are needed for formulation and the equipment for making and testing inks.

One of the advantages of having the NAPIM Summer Course at the Sonoco Institute is that the Institute has a wide range of presses for its students to learn on. Attendees of NAPIM’s Summer Course have access to these presses, which include flexo, offset and digital processes, and will be able to work with press specialists.

“These demonstrations, proctored by printing and training experts, will provide registrants with the detailed, inner workings of commercial printing presses,” said George Fuchs, director – regulatory affairs and technology for NAPIM.

NAPIM has negotiated special discounted rates with the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Clemson – Univ Area. Book your room no later than July 9 to secure the group rate.
