Flint Group Presents Inks, Plates and Sleeves at Labelexpo Europe 2015

Flint Group Flexographic Products and Flint Group Narrow Web will jointly display its most recent innovations at Labelexpo Europe, Sept. 29-Oct. 2, 2015 in Brussels, Belgium. Flint Group would like to serve as a guide as companies Discover New Possibilities in this dynamic market.
 
With the new nyloflex FTF Digital, Flint Group introduced this summer an easier way to achieve high quality results in flexible packaging and label printing. The new plate provides flat top dots by processing the plate like any standard digital plate. A special, textured plate surface eliminates the need for time-consuming surface screening and provides an even ink laydown and increased solid ink density with just a standard resolution of 2400 or 2540 dpi.
 
In 2014, Flint Group introduced another highlight: the nyloflex NEF Digital, a flexo plate designed for the nyloflex NExT exposure technology, for efficient creation of flat top dots and excellent reproduction of surface screenings. Although the nyloflex NEF Digital plate is designed for the high-output UV LED exposure, when exposed with regular tube light units it provides additional benefits compared to other digital plates.
 
Flint Group Narrow Web will also introduce inks and coatings that provide printers with solutions for the future.

New ink and coating developments to be highlighted at Labelexpo include:
• Flexocure ANCORA 50 – a low migration UV flexo range of inks suitable for food labels and certain packaging applications.
• PackCure Secure White – a low migration UV flexo white ink formulated for stringent migration demands in packaging applications, including solventless lamination.
• Flexocure ANCORA 50 Metallic Inks – a range of UV flexo low migration metallic inks suitable for certain narrow web packaging applications and for labels.
• HydroPropack – a water-based flexo ink developed specifically for narrow web flexible packaging applications.
• DigiCoat UV varnish range – with DigiCoat, Flint Group becomes and officially recommended supplier of OPVs for use on HP Indigo’s digital printed media for self adhesive labels and packaging.
Additionally, Flint Group will introduce an expanding range of EkoCure LED UV products, which now include metallic inks, UV Shrink Whites, UV Rotary Screen Inks, EkoCure IVORY and EBONY, and a wide range of coatings and adhesives.
