INX Digital recently introduced a new pair of TRIANGLE alternative inkjet inks for the wide format and outdoor markets. The GRR and GSP UV Curable high performance inks are designed to run on Vutek® GS™ series hybrid flatbed roll-fed printers or dedicated roll-to-roll (RTR) printers. Early results indicate the inks offer many significant benefits while producing high quality graphics. “The new GRR and GSP alternative inks were developed in sync with the company’s history of expertise and tradition in the digital printing market, which supports why INX is the third largest ink manufacturer in the world,” noted Susie Mendelssohn, North American Sales Manager and International Marketing Manager for INX Digital. “These ink sets have proven in beta testing to deliver terrific results. They are designed for jetting with outstanding consistency at high speeds, and will generate the type of work that will help printers attract new and repeat business.” GRR produces excellent adhesion with a faster cure rate than the OEM GSLXr series inks. These inks offer a compatible color gamut to GS series inks, but better and more consistent than the GSLXr LED Cure RTR inks and at a lower price point. GRR also provides better chemical resistance and is chemically compatible for easy conversion, in addition to being UV and water resistant without coating or lamination. GSP provides better adhesion to a wide variety of media – especially Coroplast – and is a more flexible ink that reduces chipping and peeling when cutting rigid media. It is designed to meet GRACoL color standards and the G7® idealliance proof-to-print process. Like GRR, these inks are chemically compatible for simple conversion and also produce a color gamut comparable to the OEM ink sets. “The difference is very evident when you compare the OEM brand to our alternative inks. The samples we showed last week at Fespa Digital in Amsterdam were very well received. People noticed the difference right away,” said Mendelssohn. Customers will find additional benefits when purchasing either of these inks. Both GRR and GSP are available in the same, equally weighted five-liter packaging as the OEM inks, but is eco-friendly with a 100% recyclable box and minimal waste. The inks also are supported by INX’s worldwide outdoor durability warranty and comprehensive Ink Train warranty for TRIANGLE brand inks.
