Constantia Flexibles Wins German Packaging Award

Constantia Flexibles has been named a winner of the annual German Packaging Award. The company’s Christmas Bow Label Coca-Cola packaging innovation won in the category Designing & Processing for 2016.
 
“Congratulations to our team that has brought a bold and exciting idea to life,” said Mike Henry, EVP of the labels division.
 
The Christmas Bow Label Coca-Cola is a special gravure-printed 2 ply reel fed clear metalized OPP label, laminated with special glue, available with or without perforation, and a pull strip to convert the wraparound label into a “bow.”
 
According to an independent jury, the result is an unusual and different label that is fun to use and to interact with. It is a technically intelligent solution that runs on high-speed lines, and the consumer and the brand offer a playful seasonal value.
