Collins Inkjet Introduces New, Solvent-Based Stratus Ink

This ink is Collins’ newest addition to a growing line of thermal inkjet inks for printing on difficult substrates.

Collins Inkjet announced the release of ts newest solvent-based TIJ ink, Stratus (TSK281503). This ink is Collins’ newest addition to a growing line of thermal inkjet inks for printing on difficult substrates. Users of Status can expect:
• Increased decap time.
• Increased optical density.
• Reduced “hazing.”
• Increased dot control.
 
Collins has been innovating and customizing its offerings of solvent-based TIJ inks for almost 15 years. If one of their standard inks doesn’t meet requirements, they will create one that does. Its current portfolio consists of the following inks:
• Bear (TSK2039)
• Barracuda (TSK2176)
• Solv-Jet (TSK247703)
• Sirius (TSK250003)
•  Shark (TSK1948)
• Stratus (TSK281503)
 
A methanol-free solvent-based ink is currently under development.
