Toyo Ink Mexico Obtains ISO 9001 Certification for Quality Management

Factory in Guadalajara manufactures the Lioplax series of high-performance plastic colorants.

Toyo Ink Mexico, S.A. de C.V., a member of the Toyo Ink Group, announced that it was awarded ISO 9001 certification following an audit by ABS Quality Evaluations, Inc. The recognition certifies that the company’s quality management system for the design and manufacture of plastic colorants and compounds has been found to be in conformity with the ISO 9001:2008 standard.
 
“This is a very important milestone for Toyo Ink Mexico,” said John Easley, president of the company. “ISO certification is an integral part of our strategy to become the premier supplier of plastic colorants and compounds in the region.”
 
Toyo Ink Mexico designs and manufactures masterbatch, an essential material for adding color and function to plastics found in packaging materials, containers and automotive interiors/exteriors. Its factory in Guadalajara manufactures the Toyo Ink Group’s Lioplax series of high-performance plastic colorants and functional masterbatches for blow, extrusion and high-speed injection molding applications.
