Strong Order Growth for Bühler in 2017

Order intake grew organically by 10% to CHF 2.8 billion ($2.8 billion).

Bühler achieved strong growth in 2017, increasing its order intake organically by 10% to CHF 2.8 billion ($2.8 billion). Both businesses, Grains & Food and Advanced Materials, contributed to this positive development.
 
Grains & Food increased its order intake by 7% to CHF 2.1 billion. Advanced Materials achieved an order intake of CHF 672 million, which is 21% higher compared to the previous year. The order backlog at year-end increased by 9% to over CHF 1.7 billion. Geographically, Middle East/Africa and Asia recorded the highest growth.

Our product portfolio, our customer proximity, and in particular our committed employees make the difference,” said CEO Stefan Scheiber.
