SCREEN Americas Kicks Off 2018 Digital Packaging Summit

SCREEN Americas is participating at the Digital Packaging Summit, being held in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, Nov. 5-7, 2018. The company will be a Diamond Level sponsor for the third consecutive year.

SCREEN manufactures a line of digital UV inkjet label presses that have established a growing user base among label producers and converters in the US and throughout the globe, now with more than 100 label presses installed. Two new models of the press were recently featured and demonstrated at Label Expo 2018 in Chicago in September.
 
The Truepress Jet L350 UV+ and Truepress Jet L350 UV+LM machines both feature SCREEN’s 3-picoliter drop size and four-level grayscale technology and wider color gamut achieved with SCREEN’s CMYK+W+Orange inks. The only difference is that the L350UV+LM is equipped with Low Migration ink capabilities for food label print production. The Truepress Jet L350UV+LM was awarded ‘Best Label Printer’ by the European Digital Press Association (EDP) in 2018.
 
SCREEN Graphic Solutions Co., Ltd (SCREEN GA) also reprises its participation at InPrint – the industrial print show taking place in Milan, Italy, Nov. 20-22.
 
SCREEN GP IJC Ltd, a subsidiary of SCREEN GA, is developing print engine technology, which will be integrated into a BHS Corrugated Inline Digital Print Solution. This print engine will be printing single-pass, aqueous inks onto widths up to 2.8m wide at speeds of up to 300m/min. On display will be a section of the print engine, as well as print samples and an on-stand video showing the 1.6m wide single-pass technology demonstrator in action.
 
SCREEN has been named an award recipient for the SCREEN Truepress Jet520HD using SC Inks in Printing Industries of America’s (PIA’s) 2017 InterTech Technology Awards. Truepress Jet520HD delivers offset quality printing with the vibrancy and color gamut required for high-quality publishing and commercial printing. Combined with SCREEN GA’s specially developed SC Inks, Truepress Jet520HD owners have the ability to print on the same coated litho stocks that they currently use on their offset presses without pretreatment or primer. The printed samples will be showcased at its stand.
