manroland Goss said a team of highly skilled engineers to support the existing Harland Simon install base has been created. Together, the team has more than 100 years of experience of Harland Simon systems.

Having secured the intellectual property rights for all Harland Simon products in the print industry via administrators, Trevor Binyon and Tim Dolder at Opus Restructuring & Insolvency, manroland Goss will be able to offer a wide breadth of retrofit upgrades.

“While this has been a difficult time for Harland Simon, we are very happy that as part of manroland Goss we can fully support all existing Harland Simon users with the additional backing of the worldwide sales and service teams of manroland Goss,” said Steve Withers, senior manager engineered solutions.

“This addition to the manroland Goss solutions is a clear commitment to the market,” added Alexander Wassermann, CEO of manroland Goss. “It reinforces the focus on growing our aftermarket and service business for the installed base worldwide.”
