BASF Expands Superior Materials Territory

Expands responsibility for kaolin clay

Superior Materials Inc., Garden City, NY, announced effective Sept. 1, 2012 the expansion of its existing BASF kaolin clay territory. The new territory now includes eastern Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland and Virginia. This is in addition to the territory of Connecticut, New York and New Jersey that Superior has covered since inception for this product line.

Superior Materials, Inc. is a well-known and long established specialty chemical distributor/agent, celebrating its 66th year representing BASF kaolin clay. BASF specialty hydrous and calcined kaolins improve performance, lower costs, increase efficiency and enhance the value of customer products and processes in the plastics, rubber, ink, cosmetics, ceramics, adhesives, paints and many other industries. Major products include Satintone, ASP, Mattex, Translink, Ultrex and MetaMax.
