Print operators no longer need to reprofile printers when using these inks, which are both color and chemically compatible with OEM inks

Addressing a need for alternative inks in the wide format industry, INX Digital International has reformatted its flagship Triangle brand JVS color compatible inks. Print operators no longer need to reprofile their printers when using these inks, which are both color and chemically compatible with OEM inks. Now available in the marketplace, they provide a cost-effective solution without sacrificing quality. “We are very excited about the new JVS inks and so were the franchisees who attended the FASTSIGNS convention a few weeks ago,” said Ken Kisner, INX Digital’s vice president of business development and CTO for digital division ink technologies. “When these inks were originally introduced, they were designed to help Mimaki users who were experiencing color issues with red and yellow. We had developed JVS with a concentration on very bold reds and clean yellows, and sold them in bulk containers. In talking with our customers, we later realized there was an opportunity in the U.S. market to support printers who don’t have the capacity to handle bulk ink and reprofiling and want to keep their process as simple as possible.” With a newly formulated color compatible magenta and yellow, printers now have a pair of 440ml cartridges to choose from. They can select the regular CMYK, which uses the original magenta and requires profiling, or opt for the new color compatible magenta and yellow that simply requires an operator to insert the Triangle cartridge and print. Fast drying with excellent adhesion to a wide variety of substrates, these high quality JVS color compatible inks provide superior performance for vehicle wraps and other wide format work. Bryan Vielhauer, president of Decal Impressions in Cincinnati, was one of the first to use the new formulation and is impressed with the results. “Since converting to JVS, we couldn’t be happier. The transition was seamless and the performance and high color quality is just as good if not better than the OEM inks, and they are far more economical,” Mr. Vielhauer said. “My production manager had some initial concerns, mostly due to us running our Mimaki JV3 printer every day of the week. But we have confidence in Triangle brand products and this ink is meeting our expectations.” JVS color compatible inks are backed by the INX Digital worldwide outdoor durability and ink train warranty offered on all Triangle brand ink products.
