Dover Acquires MS Printing Solutions S.r.l.

Dover Corporation announced that it has completed the acquisition of Italy-based MS Printing Solutions S.r.l., a leading designer, manufacturer and distributor of innovative digital inkjet printing systems and associated consumables serving the textile and specialty material markets. MS will become part of Dover’s Printing and Identification (DPI) segment. MS expects 2014 revenue to be approximately $70 million. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The addition of MS’ leading technology will expand DPI’s served markets beyond the fast moving consumer goods and industrial markets into the textile market which is experiencing rapid growth in the utilization of digital printing technology. The acquisition will also provide synergistic opportunities and allow DPI to share and leverage technology across the segment.
