Designed to serve customers across Europe, the facility features an optimized line layout that increases operation efficiencies and includes a four-color printing line which allows for coating and printing processes to take place on-site. It will further allow Crown to operate under more environmentally-friendly conditions.

“Our new, innovative plant in Liverpool offers a complete range of specialty packaging options that combine the functionality, aesthetics and economies of scale needed for our customers to prosper in a competitive market,” said David Harrison, vice president of CROWN Aerosols and Speciality Packaging Europe. “The facility is testament to the company’s global commitment to supporting the local economies in which it operates.”

Primarily focused on industrial packaging, the facility’s modernized equipment will also allow for Crown’s team of dedicated experts to produce food-grade containers.

“Moving to a brand new factory enables Crown to continue to offer brands throughout Europe numerous possibilities to safely package their products while lending them a premium look with extraordinary shapes, sophisticated finishes and convenient solutions,” Harrison concluded.
