Flint Group Narrow Web has introduced EkoCure Ebony and Ivory as two of the newest products into its EkoCure family of UV LED curable products. EkoCure Ebony and Ivory are UV LED curing flexo black and white, respectively, designed to offer extreme density and opacity for flexo printed inks. EkoCure Ebony can be printed with coarser anilox technology to achieve high densities and “maintain excellent press performance speeds and print performance such as adhesion and scratch resistance,” the company says. EkoCure Ivory when used in conjunction with the latest developments in anilox technology, enables printers to achieve an opaque white layer cured with UV LED lamps previously only possible using UV LED screen whites. EkoCure products are available in a complete range of UV flexo inks, from all base colors in the Pantone base range, as well as UV rotary screen whites designed for combination printing. The EkoCure ink range also offers a portfolio of metallic inks, varnishes and adhesives.
