FUJIFILM North America Corporation, Graphic Systems Division is focused on Graph Expo 2014, and will feature live presentations and interactive demonstrations of workflow and software within their “Now You Can” themed booth.

Fujifilm’s XMF Workflow version 6.1 will premiere at Graph Expo. This newest version is one of the first systems to utilize Adobe’s scalability framework, known as Mercury RIP Architecture, to increase speed and performance. XMF Workflow is a powerful and flexible production hub that is built around PDF and JDF technologies, along with Adobe APPE technology, to offer a rich set of capabilities in pre-flighting, color management and automated imposition. XMF Workflow streamlines a print facility by automating the work for greater efficiency and productivity, and it’s CIP4 certified. Fujifilm will also debut on the show floor XMF Remote version 10.1, which is now 100% HTML5.

“We will offer hands-on demonstrations of workflow and software solutions on the show floor that meet customer needs for everything from design to proof, to RIP and print,” said Jason Kammes, business development manager, FUJIFILM North America Corporation, Graphic Systems Division.

ColorPath SYNC is a suite of state-of-the-art cloud-based color management tools that align output devices to designated color targets. Metrix streamlines and automates the entire planning and imposition process with a single, user-friendly application.

Hybrid Software and Fujifilm have recently announced an agreement to bring native PDF editing to the packaging market. Fujifilm is now a distributor of Hybrid’s award-winning PACKZ native PDF editor and related products. Fujifilm will be featuring PACKZ with XMF Workflow on the show floor at Graph Expo. PACKZ provides tools for the complete packaging and label production workflow. Highlights of this functionality are the ability to create technical separations including spot varnishes, complex trapping and trap editing, and automatic step and repeat to CAD die structures for folding carton work.

Advancements in production inkjet will also be highlighted in Fujifilm booth 3213, including samples from the J Press series, along with wide format innovations from the Acuity LED 1600 to the Inca Onset line-up, and also label samples from the hybrid UV inkjet press Graphium.
