Bordeaux Digital introduced its complete offering of printer specific original inks in its booth 1401 at the SGIA Expo in Las Vegas, Oct. 22-24 2014. The new printer specific UV ink solution, PLASMA ACT, will be visible on a Fuji AcuityT Advance Select Flatbed printer. This is the only plug & print ink solution commercially available for the Acuity series and is designed to provide greater adhesion, durability and chemical resistance on sign and display, specialty and industrial applications. PLASMA AR fast curing UV ink for the new Oce ArizonaT and PLASMA AC are Mix & Match with OEM ink for seamlessly easy installation and delivers excellent image quality on flexible and rigid substrates. Bordeaux is presenting a full output print workflow demonstration on standard and challenging substrates such as glass and polypropylene. Substrates will be pre-treated with Bordeaux’s adhesion promoters (primers) followed by digital printing with Bordeaux’s newest environmentally friendly Mix & Match, UV ink. The final stage will include post-treatment with reduced odor gloss and matte coatings on a Tec-Lighting M1650 coater. Bordeaux’s high performance CLEAR series coatings improve durability and enhance images for flexible and rigid applications such as wall coverings, tradeshow graphics, outdoor signage and fleet graphics. “Bordeaux inks are formulated to support the capabilities of specific printers, whether its high color density for photographic quality printers or fast drying for high printing speeds. Our ink and compatible chip is developed to match the quality of OEM ink,” said Erez Shoshani, general manager at Bordeaux Inc., the US subsidiary of Bordeaux Digital Printink. “Sign shops that try a Bordeaux adhesion promoter, ink or coating experience high quality output and easy installation as will be witnessed at SGIA.” The newest version in Bordeaux’s environmentally friendly Eco solvent ink portfolio, FUZE ECO PR4, is being demonstrated on a Roland SOLJETT Pro4 XR640 printer. This Mix & Match ink is manufactured to match the original ink, offering a competitive advantage in color, performance and cost. Bordeaux’s Eco solvent ink series match OEM and are developed for the newest machines in the market. Bordeaux’s new inks and complementary solutions for wide and super wide printers and printhead technologies reflect Bordeaux’s continued commitment to develop and deliver industry-first products and services for customers and resellers, to gain new business and adapt sustainable printing practices.
