Flint Ink Highlights Energy Curable Ink and Coatings at CMM

Flint Ink Corporation will exhibit its complete line of high-performance ink systems and coatings products at CMM International, McCormick Place Convention Center, Chicago, April 14-17. Special attention will be on Flint Ink’s UV/EB systems, ProFlex TNT water-based ink systems for towel, napkin and tissue printing, and Optimiser ink dispensing technology.

Flint Ink’s energy curable ink systems to be featured include Gemini and MatrixCure UV ink systems and Arrowbeam EB ink systems. These systems combine curability, runnability and functionality for enhanced sheetfed and web applications for flexible packaging, folding carton and label printing. Based on proprietary resin chemistry, Flint Ink UV/EB inks offer fast through-cure, improved gray balance, greater ink/water latitude for faster make-readies, and excellent on-press performance.
    
Flint Ink coatings to be highlighted include Arrowcure UV and Arrowbeam EB coating systems. These coatings are user-friendly energy curable systems that provide excellent gloss and chemical resistance, ensuring the integrity of printed graphics. They can be used in flexographic, gravure and offset applications.
    
ProFlex TNT, the company’s water-based ink system formulated exclusively for the towel, napkin and tissue industry, exhibits excellent bleed/rub characteristics and offers low pH and low viscosity for minimal on-press maintenance. ProFlex TNT meets all industry standards for hygiene and is available in finished line colors and high-strength process colors.
    
Flint Ink’s Optimiser Ink Dispensing system, an electronically controlled canister-based system, gives sheetfed and web printers greater control over the printing process. Printers gain print quality, minimize color variation and reduce waste. The Optimiser’s usage tracking and reporting capabilities also improves efficiency.
