Horst Steppat has been placed in charge of R&D and service at basysPrint. Dr. Steppat has worked for various prepress manufacturers, and over the years has gained a strong overview of the CTP market. Starting in the R&D department, his duties expanded into consulting, marketing and sales. In his previous position at Heidelberg, Dr. Steppat was product manager of CTF and CTP equipment.
