Sartomer Announces Plans for RadTech 2016

Will exhibit several acrylate oligomer offerings at this year’s RadTech technology expo.

Sartomer Americas, a business unit of Arkema Inc., will exhibit several acrylate oligomer offerings at this year’s RadTech technology expo. The event takes place May 16-18 at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare hotel in Rosemont, IL.

The oligomers help coatings and graphic arts formulators significantly enhance cure performance. RadTech attendees can stop by Sartomer’s booth 501 during the show to learn more about the six specialty acrylate oligomers (CN1000, CN1001, CN1002, CN2910, CN2911, and CN2912) and other developments for the graphic arts market.

Sartomer’s specialty acrylate oligomers provide UV-LED and low-energy curing systems with higher surface cure response, reduced oxygen inhibition, maximized acrylate conversion and improved cured film properties. When used in coating and printing systems, these chemistries enable users to expand UV technology to heat-sensitive substrates.

RadTech attendees can also learn about Sartomer’s family of BPA-free acrylic oligomers. These oligomers exhibit high gloss, as well as low shrinkage and solvent resistance in coatings, inks, and overprint varnishes. Formulators may use these to give their applications high gloss, high scratch resistance, and excellent hardness, with confidence that their products do not contain bisphenol A (BPA) or other components listed on the Nestlé Guidance Note on Packaging Inks.
