Bruce Wolfe served more than 35 years in the printing ink industry. He began his career with Flint Group in 1986 as a formulator in the Sheetfed Product Development laboratory. Within a short time, he went into superintendent training and transferred to the New Orleans plant.
After he completed this training, he returned to Michigan as technical manager for news ink product development. He was soon promoted to technical director for North America. This role developed into global news ink support for regions such as South America, Malaysia, Singapore, South Africa, Beijing, India and Australia.
He participated in product development of inks designed for Man Roland presses and in formulating products to run on the various keyless press designs. He has also been involved in all aspects of the News Ink product evolution.
Wolfe has been a great supporter of NPIRI. He has participated in several NPIRI, NEXPO and RIT technical conferences and training sessions. - NAPIM
