Shamrock Technologies appointed Joon Choo as president, effective immediately.
Previously VP and global key accounts and products leader, Choo joined Shamrock in 1983. Throughout the years, he has worked in various technical and key growth positions.
Choo relocated from the United States to Malaysia in 1996 to establish Shamrock Technologies (Asia), Inc., which led to the set-up of the first Shamrock China plant and an expanded global sales network. He returned to the US in 1999 as director of marketing.
With 38 years of experience in the inks, coatings and allied chemical industry, he is committed to leading Shamrock and building upon the foundation of innovative products and customer-centric services.
Choo will be supported by a global team of experienced leaders including, among others, Manshi Sui, Werner Maenen, Chris Moseley, Craig Collins, and Joseph Shade.
