Braintree Printing (Braintree, MA) began as a retail quick printer in 1982. The company has retained the same management and ownership in the nearly four decades since.
“About 20 years ago, we decided to become trade printers,” said Jim Corliss, owner and co-founder of Braintree Printing. “Now about 90% of what we produce is being resold by other printers and print brokers.”
Braintree Printing services the trade in New Jersey, New York and New England. “We have defined our marketing area by shipping,” said Corliss, a US Army veteran and Milton, MA resident. “All those areas are a one day ship – at ground rates – from our location.”
The company runs two Xerox iGen 150 presses – according to Corliss, it produces more than 2 million digital pages per month – as well as some Ryobi 23”x29” five color presses.
