BCM Inks, in memory of its late technical director, Werner Sattler, awarded scholarships at Clemson University's 20th Annual Graphics Communication Department Banquet on April 9, 2012.
This year, three Clemson University Graphics Communication Department students (Chris Olberding, David Albert and Joel Engelberth) received the BCM Inks/Werner Sattler scholarship for the Advancement of Corrugated Print Technology.
David Callif, president of BCM Inks, noted during the presentation how happy Mr. Sattler would have been to know that since the award’s origination, more than 60 Clemson students have received financial assistance to help them follow their print education dreams.
“We are pleased to contribute to Clemson’s Graphic Communication Department.” said Mr. Callif. “We believe industry/education partnerships are critical if we are to meet the needs of the graphics print industry.”
