RUCO Druckfarben reported a solid year in 2018, driven by new technologies form its R&D team. Last summer, RUCO launched 955LED-LM, its latest LED curable screenprinting ink. 955LED-LM is low migration, and meets the requirements of Swiss Ordinance SR 817.023.21, EuPIA Suitability List of Photoinitiators and Nestlé Guidance Note on Packaging Inks. It contains no ITX, benzophenone and 4-methylbenzophenone (4-MBP) and bisphenol A. Designed for external plastic packaging for food and cosmetics, 955LED-LM is low odor and silicone-free, and can be cured using either LED or conventional UV technology.
