Comments: Headquartered in Israel, Bordeaux Digital PrintInk specializes in high quality digital inks for nearly every inkjet application. Bordeaux has more than 500 distribution partners and sales in more than 100 countries.
The past year marked a significant milestones for Bordeaux, as the company entered new markets and developed several game-changing products for the digital industry, including new inks for textiles and specialty applications which they successfully showed during drupa 2016.
“We have seen growth in both the printing as a whole and in specific the ink industry,” said Nufar Kiryati, marcom manager for Bordeaux. “Aiming to be more efficient yet preserve the high quality of prints and with competition being tougher, companies are looking today for easier and quick turn to market solutions to differentiate themselves.”
Also new is Fast Cure 2040, a series of scented coatings that are available in five scents – green apple, mulberry, strawberry, passion fruit and citrus, as well as custom-made scents that are available per demand.
“In addition, companies are required to offer added value to existing products,” Kiryati added. “An example of the latter will be Bordeaux’s new solutions for visual communication – scented coatings to offer additional benefit for the coated documents.”
In the past year Bordeaux has made a move into the digital textile arena with its new EDEN PG water-based pigment ink. Bordeaux’s new pigment ink for all fabrics allows print shops and manufacturers to print their textiles with a single ink for all their fabrics and in the same printing line. No need for separate process in terms of machinery and treatments for the different types of fabrics – all fabrics under the same line with same one ink.
“This brings a true wave of change to the textile industries specifically small to mid-size print shops now able to offer their customers any type of textile applications not limiting themselves to one specific type of fabric,” Kiryati said.
“Bordeaux also added more printer-specific ink solutions in all major ink types – UV, solvent and dye sublimation. These new ink developments for all major print models on the market positions Bordeaux as a brand that houses all inkjet solutions under the same roof.”
