Gallus DCS 340 - Heidelberg
The new Gallus DCS 340 (DCS = Digital Converting System) digital label printing press, based on inkjet technology from Fujifilm, will combine flexo and inkjet printing units, and is expected to enter production in the next 12 months.
Graphium Hybrid UV Inkjet Press – FUJIFILM
The Graphium was a 2013 MUST SEE ’EMS Best of Category honoree for digital presses. This year, FUJIFILM’s Graphium hybrid inkjet press is designed for narrow web packaging and label applications. A hybrid printer, the Graphium offers flexo and inkjet capabilities.
KBA RotaJET L Series – Koenig & Bauer
Unveiled at Graph Expo 2014, the KBA RotaJET L Series uses the high-volume, flexible modular RotaJET 89-130 press platform, with press widths of 895 mm to 1300 mm (35.2” to 51.1”). With this system, KBA is targeting the book, direct mail, magazine, newspaper, packaging and industrial printing market segments.
HP Indigo 20000 Digital Press – HP
The recipient of a 2014 InterTech Award from the Printing Industries of America (PIA), the HP Indigo 20000 Digital Press is a 30-inch wide, roll-to-roll printer capable that produces flexible packaging, labels and shrink sleeves on film or paper. It is ideal for on-demand printing.
EFI VUTEk GS2000LX Pro with UltraDrop Technology – EFI
Graph Expo’s ’MUST SEE EMS Selection Committee selected the EFI VUTEk GS2000LX Pro with UltraDrop Technology as its 2014 Best of Category honoree for wide format presses. The two-meter printer utilizes UV LED curing, and is a hybrid rigid/roll-fed printer.
Vpak Packaging Presses – Goss International
Another recipient of the 2014 InterTech Award, Goss International’s Sunday Vpak 3000 wide web offset press prints flexible packaging, folding carton and preprint applications. It is available in web widths up to 75 inches and offers quick-change sleeve technology.

A 2014 MUST SEE ’EMS Best of Category recipient for digital presses, the Océ ImageStream 3500 is a full-color inkjet press that prints on offset coated paper stocks, as opposed to treated papers or using bonding agents or primers.
