The Executive Committee of the National Association of Printing Ink Manufacturers (NAPIM) has selected Brad Bergey to become the association’s new executive director. James Coleman, NAPIM’s executive editor since 1996, will be retiring in April after 15 years at the helm of the association. Mr. Bergey will join NAPIM as of Feb. 7.
Mr. Bergey has an extensive career in the ink industry, having spent 28 years at Sun Chemical before leaving the industry in 2006 after serving as president of the Kohl & Madden division.. Most recently, he has been national accounts manager with Oystar Jones & Co. While at Sun Chemical, Mr. Bergey was the chairman of NAPIM’s Management Committee, which is responsible for analyzing and presenting the annual State of the Industry Report.
