Job Description:
This individual is responsible for Responsible for generating new business and ensuring growth of existing accounts by developing and testing new products and modifying existing water based flexo products for the Narrow Web Market.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Testing new products for reliability and application.
- Planning and conducting evaluations for manufactured products.
- Planning and conducting customer/vendor evaluations.
- Assisting in the development of new products.
- Recommending and executing modifications to existing products.
- Assisting customers with ink application problems. This may entail traveling to the customer’s site for hands on assistance.
- Assisting with other duties as directed by supervisor.
HERE'S WHAT YOU NEED
- Background in printing industry
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or related field or equivalent experience in water based flexo ink development or application preferred.
- 3-5 years minimum experience working in a flexo/narrow web application arena.
- Previous experience in applications/operating, including color matching, QC, blending, or technical service.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products required.
- Self-driven, results oriented with a clear focus on high quality results.
- Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives with minimal supervision.
- Ability to perform job according to pre-established safety, quality, and efficiency standard operating procedures.
