Position Summary:
The U.S. Account Manager is responsible for the sales of Polimeros Sinteticos rosin resins, derivatives, and alkyd resins to existing and new customers. Responsibilities include identifying new customers, supporting customers’ understanding of the products’ technical aspects, and closing new sales in the assigned territories within the target market segments of Adhesives, Graphic Arts, Rubber Modification, Road Marking, Paint and Coatings, and other Specialty Applications.
Primary Responsibilities:
Desired Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a Science (Chemistry) or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Ten+ years of experience selling raw materials in a technical business to business application in the target markets of Printing inks, adhesives, rubber, traffic marking, paint and coatings, or other specialty applications.
Good understanding of business processes.

Job Description:
Position Summary:
The U.S. Account Manager is responsible for the sales of Polimeros Sinteticos rosin resins, derivatives, and alkyd resins to existing and new customers. Responsibilities include identifying new customers, supporting customers’ understanding of the products’ technical aspects, and closing new sales in the assigned territories within the target market segments of Adhesives, Graphic Arts, Rubber Modification, Road Marking, Paint and Coatings, and other Specialty Applications.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Position responsible for identifying new sales opportunities to existing and new customers by utilizing the technical sales process from prospecting to closing.
- Acts as the primary account contact for customers. Liaison with internal Company departments as necessary to handle customer inquiries, problems that arise, promotion of new and existing products, and related activities.
- Maximize revenue by acting as the customer’s focal point and advocate through promotional programs, training, educating customers, and resolving sales issues.
- Responsible for timely sales reporting into a central CRM system.
- Active territory planning for most efficient use of time and travel costs.
- Timely submission of expense reports per the Company policy.
- Completion of technical service requests to address customer issues and provide competitive analysis for sales proposals.
- Preparation of customer proposals and pricing offers. Follow-up and closure of offers.
- Timely completion of Company compliance and safety training.
- Utilization of phone, computer, presentation and other communication skills in a professional manner.
- Collection and inputs of competitive and market information into a centralized CRM database.
- Acts as the Company representative to promote the interests of the company to its customers.
- Attends Industry Conferences to further the interests, promotion and sales of the Company Products and Market position.
- Performs all sales activities in an ethical manner representing the interests and culture of the Company.
- Prepares reports on sales performance to present to Management.
- Participates in the preparation of the Annual Sales Forecast for input into the Business Planning process.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Demonstrated ability to understand customer’s business objectives and processes.
- Demonstrated ability to understand the structure, pricing and demand drivers with target markets.
- Self-starter, able to work independently with direction from management, managing time well.
- Demonstrated ability to work with and support Distributor sales in the Territory.
- Proven ability to understand the technical aspects of product performance for the target markets.
- Effective organization, problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
