Westar Systems, a distributor specializing in high quality sublimation ink and paper and licensed to distribute sublimation ink for use on wide format printers such as Epson, Mimaki, Mutoh and Roland wider than 44 inches, released recent results from a color strength test of its Vibrant Wide Format (VWF) sublimation inks. The VWF ink set was tested against another leading ink, and Westar reported the test showed VWF to have 31 percent more color strength.
“The results confirm our ink’s high quality and performance,” said Rich Brenner, Westar president. “The inks were tested at an European ISO facility using ink coverages from 10 percent to 100 percent. The net result was Westar Systems’s ink set has 31 percent more color strength across the composite ink set. When a customer uses our VWF inks with its stronger color strength they can obtain the same color, but with less ink, which in turn will save our customers money.”
