As part of its introduction of the DuPont Artistri 3320 textile printing system at FESPA Digital Printing Europe 2006, DuPont invited attendees to experience the printing of ultra-high-resolution images from the Gigapxl Project on fabric.
“These images capture detail and clarity from the highest-resolution landscape camera ever created,” said Gary Turner, business development manager for DuPont Artistri.
Husband and wife team Graham Flint and Catherine Aves have achieved this technical milestone of ultra-high-resolution imagery of landscape images measuring in the 4000 mega pixel range. “We have been very impressed with the quality and fidelity of the Gigapxl images printed with DuPont Artistri,” said Mr. Flint.
“These images will demonstrate the ability of our new grand format system to print beautiful ultra-high resolution photographic images on textiles,” Mr. Turner said.
