Progressive Color Media LLC, a Flint Ink company providing a full range of workflow color management solutions integrating hardware, software and services, is partnering with Prepress Training Solution, the chief online training solution leader for graphic arts, to add online color management training to its product and services portfolio.
The new color management online training series, being developed and delivered by Prepress Training Solution, will offer interactive 24/7 accessible training on the fundamentals of color management.
“Prepress Training Solution is the leader in online prepress training. Its interactive training process and courses have become a key resource for leading companies involved in graphic arts and publishing,” said Dan Goodenow, director of sales and services at Progressive Color Media. “We’re excited to bring online color management training to our customers.”
The companies have two courses slated for availability in the first half of 2005: Color Management Essentials (theory) and ICC Profiling. Both courses will focus on using color- managed workflows to increase efficiency and reduce waste with consistent, predictable color.
“Content publishers will be better educated in color management, and there’s no doubt this will mean they will more rapidly and effectively bring jobs to higher levels of productivity and predictability,” said Diane Watt, president of Progressive Color Media.
