Nazdar has announced the availability of its improved CoroPlus N1200 UV screen ink for POP applications on treated corrugated polypropylene and some high density polyethylene sheeting.
According to the company, the new N1200 Series offers a list of improvements to the popular 1200 Series ink, including increased block resistance, enhanced scuff resistance, better adhesion to aging substrates and improved halftone gain stability during printing.
Like its 1200 Series predecessor, CoroPlus N1200 Series is a high performance, one-part, 100% solids UV curable ink that exhibits a high gloss and does not require a catalyst. Formulated for applications on treated corrugated polypropylene that require up to 12 months outdoor performance, N1200 Series inks are fast curing and provide excellent flexibility along with improved adhesion. According to the company, the ink film flexibility enables the finished sign to undergo bending, die cutting, hole punching and stapling.
“The 1200 Series inks were originally engineered to provide the high productivity that POP printers need when printing on in-line processor systems,” said Richard Bowles, Nazdar vice president of sales and marketing. “With the new N1200 Series, we’ve taken the product to a new level. The improved block resistance and better halftone gain stability makes this an ideal ink for corrugated polypropylene applications such as political, real estate and bus signage.”
