DuPont announced the grand opening of the new DuPont Artistri Technology Center (ATC) in Cavenago, Milan, Italy. The facility will provide customer demonstrations, technology training and customer service in support of the DuPont Artistri digital printing for textiles system. The Artistri system is a fully integrated, production-capable, digital textile printing solution for printed textiles, apparel, home furnishings, gaming, flag and banner and industrial applications.
“We are extremely excited with the opening of the demonstration center that will serve as a showcase for our digital printing capabilities as well as a state-of-the art, technical support, training and after-sales service facility,” said Marco Torri, DuPont regional sales manager – Europe, who will oversee the operation.
Offering the textile printing industry a brand new breed of production capability and design flexibility, the Artistri system has three main components: the DuPont Artistri 2020 printer, DuPont Artistri ink and DuPont Artistri software. The company will also demonstrate its unique new aqueous-based DuPont Artistri pigment ink for digital textile printing. This combination of technologies provides unmatched versatility over traditional printing and reduces cycle time from weeks to days –– all while providing lower production and manpower costs.
