Lyson, Inc. has expanded its Cave Paint pigment inks to include cartridges for Epson’s Stylus Pro 10000 and Stylus Pro 10600 wide format printers.
Cave Paint provides intensely vibrant colors for dramatic, durable, eye-catching prints. Once installed, these pigment inks enhance the color output of Epson 10000 and 10600 printers while driving down costs significantly for the end user. The Lyson Cave Paint cartridges are approximately 25 percent less expensive than Epson cartridges.
“My past experience with non-OEM inks wasn’t good, but Lyson Cave Paint is actually better than Epson’s ink,” says Fred Galley of Galley Studio, Portage, WI. “The prints with Cave Paint are very nice—everyone who sees them is blown away!”
Photographer Mike Dolan of Santa Rosa, CA said, “The print quality is always at least as good—and in many cases a lot better—than Epson ink on the same paper. Cave Paint is also much more scratch resistant, particularly on gloss or semi-gloss papers. Proofing is quite straightforward, no problems at all; and the changeover to Lyson inks from Epson was really simple, fast and easy.”
According to Lyson, Cave Paint is ideal for photographic and fine art prints, trade show graphics, outdoor signs and banners, backlit and window exhibits, POP displays and pre-press proofing. Its benefits include ultra-vibrant colors over a wide color gamut; long, fade resistant life for indoor and outdoor usage; wide media compatibility with no performance sacrifice; process color simulation; water and scratch resistance; and exceptional lamination characteristics for hot and cold lamination. Lyson Cave Paint is compatible with a wide range of printer technologies including Epson, Roland, Mimaki and Mutoh.
