In February 2002, Akzo Nobel Inks was acquired in a management buyout. Since then, the company has been expanding rapidly, both through internal growth and by acquiring Trenal S.A.
The company has been looking forward to developing its own identity, and Drupa 2004 was the ideal place to introduce the company’s new name – ANI Printing Inks.
“Akzo Nobel Inks is no more,” said Peter Koivula, president and CEO of ANI Printing Inks. “With the unveiling of our new name and identity, the final and formal step towards independence has been taken.
