Aellora Digital, a Markem company providing digital chemistries, drop-on-demand ink jet systems and services for commercial, graphic and select other digital printing, imaging and dispensing applications, has moved its offices into a larger facility. Its new location is 15 Tiffin St., Keene, NH 03431. Telephone, facsimile and P.O. Box numbers have not changed as a result of this move.
“This move is in response to the growing demand for our products and services,” said Mario Carluccio, business development manager of Aellora Digital. “Our new offices provide us the necessary space for our recently expanded team as well as for expected future growth. We are also excited about this move as it further demonstrates the commitment and the support provided from our parent company.”
The recent move included business offices for key management personnel and the entire printing department. The printing department is where processing print sample requests and sub-contract printing services utilizing Aellora Digital product offerings are provided.
Aellora Digital has also received further funding and focus from its parent company with the hiring of Dr. Michael Stoudt as full-time president of the company. Dr. Stoudt was previously acting chief operating officer for Aellora Digital along with maintaining his full-time management duties at Markem.
“Given the results of early market research and a positive customer response, it is time to accelerate Aellora Digital’s launch as a stand-alone business entity,” said Jeffrey Miller, president of the industrial marking and coding group, Markem Corporation. “Mike is well positioned to take on the responsibility of this new venture business, with his broad technical background in various engineering disciplines and technologies, as well as experience in a number of business development and general management roles.”
Dr. Stoudt has an undergraduate degree in physics from Muhlenberg College, a master’s and Ph.D. in physics from Penn State University and an MBA from the University of Rochester William E. Simon School of Business. Prior to joining Markem in 1997, he spent 23 years as a research scientist and business manager at Eastman Kodak in Rochester, NY. Dr. Stoudt has 25 years of experience with digital imaging processes, concentrating on on-demand digital color printing since the mid-1980’s.
In addition to Dr. Stoudt’s leadership role in Aellora Digital, he will also remain involved with management of the research and technology development activities of the parent company’s core business.
