On Nov.11, 2003, Mike Miller, MCIC, FTSC, was presented with honorary membership for dedicated and meritorious service within the Oil and Colour Chemists’ Association (OCCA). This award was presented in Philadelphia, PA with OCCA president David Foulger and OCCA general secretary Chris Pacey-Day, in attendance.
Mr. Miller is currently the chair of the Canadian Division of the Oil and Colour Chemists’ Association (U.K.), a past chair, a past education committee chair and the immediate past symposium chair of the Ontario Section of OCCA, and a past chair of the Canadian Printing Ink Manufacturers’ Association’s technical committee. He is also a member at large on the CIC/CSChE Toronto Section Executive.
Mr. Miller is a fellow in the Technology of Surface Coatings and has lectured more than 70 times at the OCCA – Ontario Section Printing Ink Technology Course, a three-year program that trains printing ink chemists and technicians. He is an employee of SICPA North America, Inc. in Oakville, Ontario.
