Alan H. Barry has been elected to the board of directors of Flint Ink Corporation (www.flintink.com), the largest privately-held manufacturer of printing inks in the world.
Mr. Barry is president and COO of Masco Corporation, having previously served as group president of Masco Corporation and as president of the Brass Craft Division of Masco. He joined Brass Manufacturing Company in 1972 as controller, and has broad business experience in finance, manufacturing, customer development, acquisitions and general operating management.
Mr. Barry currently serves on the boards of directors of the H.W. Kaufman Financial Group and Arch Aluminum & Glass Co., Inc. He served as an executive board member of the Plumbing Manufacturing Institute from 1985 through 2000, and as chairman of the institute in 1994. In addition, he served on the executive board of the associate member division of the American Supply Association in 1995 and 1996.
Prior to his affiliation with Masco, Mr. Barry served as vice president of finance for Cadillac Overall Supply Company, and as audit supervisor for Ernst & Ernst. He received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Toledo, and is a certified public accountant.
