Nazdar has launched a redesigned, more user-friendly web site containing a number of useful features for the screen print community. Improvements to the site include faster navigation, an expanded offering of inks and printing supplies in the Z-Commerce online store, more extensive information on the company’s selection of screen printing and digital imaging products and two new features, Access and ColorStar Online.
“The new site has been designed to provide 24/7 365 ‘one click’ direct access to a wide range of technical application, and regulatory information on Nazdar’s entire range of manufactured screen printing and digital imaging inks,” said Peter G. Walsh, vice president, sales and marketing.
According to the company, the Access system enables Nazdar customers to log on to the web site and easily track the status of orders and shipments and view previous purchases and invoices. ColorStar Online is a version of the company’s popular ColorStar color management system that gives screen printers online access to produce Pantone color match simulations, increase efficiency, reduce set-up time, eliminate waste and increase profits. Both modules should be available at www.nazdar.com in early spring.
“Nazdar’s Access program is currently running live being utilized by Nazdar’s customer service team and select end user customers to track the status of current orders, shipments, credits and purchase history,” said Mr. Walsh. “The program has performed flawlessly in beta testing and we have targeted March to introduce Access for general release on the Nazdar web site. We are anxiously awaiting the final programming to be completed to allow the online version to go live. As with Access, we are targeting March 1 for general release of ColorStar Online through the Nazdar web site.”
The new web site also offers downloadable ink tech sheets in PDF format, schedules for Nazdar’s expanded training and educational services, information on health and safety issues, including EPA compliance and safety regulation information and downloadable MSDS sheets.
The simplified navigation of the site allows users to directly access an area of interest from any page on site without having to search or click through different categories. A history bar allows users to easily trace their steps through the web site. The “Contact Nazdar” section allows visitors to find the nearest Nazdar location, communicate with customer service or technical support, order the latest Nazdar catalog and log on to the “Printer’s Forum” to exchange information with other printers, post their printing questions and receive answers and advice from Nazdar’s technical experts.
According to Mr. Walsh, “What our customers want most right now is information about products and services to make their business more productive and profitable. With new features such as the Access and ColorStar Online, our site will be an increasingly important resource for Nazdar customers.”
“Nazdar is proud to have been among the very first manufacturer/distributors in the durable graphics industry to provide web-based access to the corporate services and product information,” said Mr. Walsh. “The launch of the new Nazdar web site should be seen as the latest chapter in Nazdar’s ongoing web based development program. Nazdar is committed to continuous improvement and development of the www.nazdar.com site to maintain an industry leadership position to provide online access to information, services and products for the screen-printing and digital imaging industry.”
