INX International Ink Co., Elk Grove Village, IL (www.inxinternational.com) will display its EcoPure HP premium work-and-turn ink at Graph Expo in Chicago, Oct. 6-9, 2002. According to the company, EcoPure allows for the fastest set times, good press stability, sharp printing characteristics and excellent print quality on all sheetfed presses, including high-speed presses.
EcoPure HP ink helps minimize waste by allowing the pressman to achieve optimum color quickly on press. Because of its increased flexibility and expanded operating window, printers can run on a variety of substrates with improved total production efficiency.
“EcoPure offers fast start-ups, less waste, excellent transfer and easier blanket washes and reduces environmental hazards,” said Joe Cichon, senior vice president, product and manufacturing technology, INX. “This unique ink permits same day bindery and includes excellent blocking resistance properties that prevent today’s post press finishing concerns.”
According to INX, previously introduced soy inks did not meet printers’ performance requirements as they were slow to cure. EcoPure is a soy-based product that provides the high performance functionality of conventional sheetfed ink while using environmentally friendly material. The “work-and-turn” property of EcoPure HP means that printers who use this ink can promote both high quality and environmental sensitivity.
“The introduction of EcoPure illustrates how INX International utilizes its global resources to find new and innovative solutions to printers‚ needs with new ink technology,” said Kevin Yeazell, vice president, sales and marketing, INX.
“Our customers want a premium quality work-and-turn ink that is stable on press, increases productivity and provides consistent sellable sheets faster,” Mr. Yeazell added.
EcoPure is now available to customers through INX representatives.
