Flint Ink Corporation announced July 15 the signing of an agreement with Enovation Graphic Systems, Inc., Elmsford, NY, creating an alliance that will enable Flint Ink to supply its sheetfed commercial inks and coatings to printers through Enovation’s nationwide branches.
The product line includes Process colors, Hexachrome colors, Pantone colors, specialty colors, specialty inks, UV/EB curable inks, and aqueous and UV coatable inks.
“This agreement opens the way to significant new business for Flint Ink,” said Jim Bennett, vice president, commercial, for Flint Ink North America. “There are hundreds of small-to-medium commercial printers out there. By teaming up with Enovation Graphic Systems, we can provide high quality and innovative products to these printers, and know that they’ll receive the level of service and support we are committed to providing to all of our customers.”
Dan Maffeo, executive vice president of Enovation Graphic Systems added, “Our mission is to provide products and services that add value to our customer’s business and the Flint Ink product line does exactly that. Flint Ink is a name synonymous with quality and customer satisfaction.”
“When my grandfather put his name on his company in 1920, it was for one reason: He wanted his customers to know that there was someone personally accountable for the quality of the products and the reliability of the service,” said H. Howard Flint, II, Flint Ink’s chairman and chief executive officer. “Today, Flint Ink is a global leader in the printing ink industry. But it is still a family-owned company, answerable only to our customers. Our commitment to meeting current and future needs of the printing industry is demonstrated in a variety of ways. One of them is making sure suppliers sell our products with the same dedication to customer concerns. I see that attitude in Enovation’s approach to their business.”
