SunDance, a provider of multi-channel print and marketing solutions, announced the acquisition of an HP Indigo 25K digital press as the cornerstone of its newly formed flexible packaging division. The press has been added to Orlando, FL-based company's existing HP fleet, which includes an Indigo 7900, 6R Digital Press, Latex 3000, and FB 700.
“We’ve continued to stay laser-focused on the end goal throughout the pandemic, which is to continue to provide our customers with the best solutions possible,” said JohnHenry Ruggieri, managing director, SunDance USA. “And having worked with HP for some time now, seeing a new stream of orders and requests for products coming through our door, the decision to move into flexible packaging was a very natural next step for us.”
“HP and SunDance are both committed to providing innovative solutions for customer problems,” added Kirk McLean, GM, Americas, HP Indigo and Pagewide Presses. “By combining HP technology with the SunDance commitment to customer satisfaction, we have the tools necessary to meet any print challenge.”
Starting the business in 2007, SunDance’s manufacturing facility boasts an assortment of equipment to service clients whatever their requirement, in recent times seeing a surge in hyper-customized, personalized products including the likes of holographic films, windows, closers and pouching printed on low volumes or multiple SKUs.
“While we want to ensure customers have what they need, we also have a responsibility to provide these customizable products with our sustainability goals in mind,” Ruggieri continues,” Ruggieri noted. “We’re pleased to say that by using the HP Indigo 25K digital press, not only can we make the orders, it also helps us eliminate print media waste and plates, as well as using non-toxic inks and recycled print materials.”
