BASF contributed more than $39,000 to United Way of Southwest Alabama (UWSWA). The funds will benefit more than 50 United Way partner agencies across Choctaw, Clarke, Mobile and Washington counties.
“Our work with United Way has given BASF and our employees the opportunity to provide support to help strengthen our community,” said Marcus Pezent, site director of BASF in McIntosh, AL. “Our contribution is a commitment to invest in the critical needs facing our surrounding counties.”
BASF’s employee-led United Way campaign kicked off this fall with a tailgate celebration, door-prize giveaway and employee pledge drive.
The United Way of Southwest Alabama is grateful for our relationship with BASF,” said Jill Chenoweth, president and CEO of UWSWA. “BASF and its employees are integral to our ability to provide funding to our partners and services in Washington County. The support BASF provides every year changes and saves lives. Thank you for all you do. Thank you for Living United.”
