Mark Unland, founder of Naples, FL-based wrap shop Inked Vinyl designed a wrap for his boat (pictured) using a Roland DG printer/cutter.
“I showed the design to a bunch of people and they weren’t too crazy about it initially, but I went ahead with the wrap anyway. Once it was done, they all thought it looked pretty cool,” said Unland.
Later down the line, Unland purchased a Roland DG TrueVIS VG2-640 printer/cutter and used his new inkjet and a similar design to wrap another one of his water toys.
“I took advantage of the COVID-19 slow-down to wrap my paddleboard,” Unland noted. “I’m really impressed with the image quality and print speed of my VG2,” he added. “Plus, for wrap jobs, it enables us to laminate sooner, increasing the number of projects we can turn around.”
