SPGPrints appointed Omigraf Sp. z o.o., based in Warsaw, as an agent in Poland to represent its rotary screen printing division for label applications.
Omigraf’s founder and owner, Andrzej Turski, has been representing several leading machine and material suppliers in the graphics printing industry in Poland for the last 23 years.
The agency will provide label converters with a local supply of SPGPrints rotary screen equipment and consumables, as well as providing technical consultancy, training programs and maintenance.
Rotary screen printing can be used in-line with flexo, offset, gravure and letterpress to create eye-catching effects such as gloss, matte and tactile varnishes, vibrant colors, metallic, highest opacity white as well as braille dots and anti-counterfeiting.
SPGPrints’ Rotary Screen Integration (RSI) printing modules allow easy integration into existing label presses. The company’s long-life pure nickel rotary screens include the re-imageable RotaMesh and reusable RotaPlate.
To develop and dry RotaPlate rotary screens for narrow web applications, SPGPrints developed the RotaPlate Dev&Dry system.
The RotaPlate Dev&Dry has now also been installed in Poland and the customer has successfully integrated the machine in their pre-press process.
