Flint Group announced the appointment of Emmanuel Bareaud to president Narrow Web effective March 30, 2020.
This appointment will ensure strategic consistency as the organization continues on its journey to fully commercialize its innovative and market-leading offering to print and packaging converters worldwide.
Bareaud previously worked at AkzoNobel (and formerly ICI).
He was director EMEA for Packaging Coatings with P&L accountability for a €280m business, employing 450 people across five manufacturing sites and later as director NW Europe and European key accounts for Metal Coatings a €300m revenue business with six sites and 450 people.
In his new role, Bareaud will succeed Guillaume Clement who will leave the business by the end of April 2020 to take a position as CEO of a private equity-owned business in another industry.
“I would like to thank Guillaume for his important contribution to our company over the last seven years," Flint Group CEO Antoine Fady said. "He has developed a strong strategy, a great product range manufactured in a world-class mother plant in Trelleborg, and a team ready to meet the challenges and win in the market place. Additionally, Guillaume led the step-change in Flint Group growth with International Key Accounts and cross-divisional solutions for customers. We thank him for his contribution and wish him well for the future.”
“I am delighted we have secured a successor for Guillaume of the quality and experience that Emmanuel represents," added Steve Dryden, Flint Group chief operating officer. "Flint Narrow Web is an incredibly strong business and I look forward to working with Emmanuel and the Narrow Web team to continue the successful development of this business.”
