Comexi is expanding its presence in the US with the installation of a flexographic press at the New Wave Converting facilities in Fontana, CA. This Comexi F2 MP 10 colors, designed for the American market, is ideal for long runs in the flexible packaging sector of the retail and wholesale channels.
“It is a very important operation for Comexi North America (CNA),” says Tom Calahan, Comexi area manager in this region. “This operation with New Wave Converting allows us to enter into the market and opens the doors for future operations with flexographic presses in this area.”
For more than 30 years, New Wave Converting, a family-owned American company, has been printing and laminating plastic film for the snack food and food industries in its two plants located in Fontana, CA. The company is a leader in printing high quality and pro-cessed photo images on packaging film for its customers.
The agreement with New Wave Converting allows Comexi North America to strengthen its presence in the United States, where the company recently moved its headquarters to Mi-ami, FL.
